Javier Falcó

Welcome to my website.

My name is Francisco Javier Falcó Benavent. I have been a lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Analysis at the University of Valencia since 2017. In addition to teaching mathematical analysis in several degrees at the University of Valencia, I teach science outreach courses through the University of Valencia Extension Service.

My research focuses on functional analysis and the geometry of Banach spaces, where I have contributed to several areas.

Books

Two of my outreach projects are these books, which explore different but complementary areas: the first offers an accessible introduction to the foundations of artificial intelligence, with particular attention to how chatbots and current models work; the second proposes an experimental and hands-on approach to mathematics, aimed at discovery and active learning.
